Intimate Classes. Focused Training. Real Opportunities.
Croydon School of Performing Arts (CSPA) is an award-winning performing arts
school based in South Norwood, Croydon. We offer high-quality, affordable
and inclusive training for children and young people aged 18 months to 18 years.
🏆 Dance School of the Year 2025/26
🏆 Performing Arts School of the Year 2026/27
Your Child Won't Get Lost in the Crowd
We do things a little differently. Our classes are kept intentionally focused, with
low student numbers so teachers really get to know each child - offering individual
feedback and celebrating every bit of progress.
Students are grouped by age and ability, so training is always the right level
of challenge - never overwhelming, always moving forward.
Every child deserves to feel known, noticed and supported.
What We Teach
From first steps to centre stage, we offer:
Ballet • Tap • Modern • Street Dance • Acro • Musical Theatre • Pointe • Private Singing
Classes run from 18 months right through to 18 years, so your child can grow with us throughout their whole performing arts journey.
For families wanting structured progress, we also offer the chance to work towards recognised exams with ISTD, RAD, Acrobatic Arts, and ABRSM - alongside shows, workshops and performance opportunities.
For Young Performers with Big Dreams
CSPA's Principal, Miss Kay, also runs Ready Set Cast - a small, personal talent agency for young performers.
Our students have gone on to professional work including:
⭐ Les Misérables
⭐ Disney's The Lion King
⭐ TINA – The Tina Turner Musical
⭐ Matilda the Musical
⭐ TV commercials for ASDA & Müller
⭐ Music videos and other professional projects
Because Ready Set Cast stays small and personal, your child is never just another name on a list - and CSPA students get a discounted agency commission rate.
It's Not Just About the Stage
Not every child dreams of performing professionally - and that's completely okay.
Performing arts helps children build confidence, creativity, resilience, discipline and teamwork, all while making friends and happy memories.
Older students can also become Student Helpers or Senior Helpers, building leadership skills and becoming role models for our younger dancers.
Accessible, Affordable, Inclusive
As a Community Interest Company, making performing arts accessible to every family matters to us. That's why we offer:
-
Affordable fees
-
Monthly payment options
-
Sibling and multi-class discounts
-
Ongoing scholarships and funded opportunities
There's a Place for Every Child at CSPA
Some students dream of the West End. Some want to pass exams and perfect their technique. Some simply want to dance, sing, make friends and enjoy the best part of their week.
Whatever your child's goals, we want them to feel confident, supported and part of our performing arts family.
Train. Grow. Perform. Belong.
